Sud 777 (Bulevard de la Luz 777, Jardines del Pedregal, Mexico City) – this restaurant’s contemporary space is a destination unto itself (with a terrace, patio, sushi joint, and lounge to complete the leafy open dining room). One can literally eat here for hours, given Sud’s inviting atmosphere. The dishes served here are anything but boring. While the lounge offers a modest menu of tapas and sushi, the dining room offers a mix of heavy-duty meat dishes (such as their well-renowned ribs, and light raw tuna tostadas, ceviches, and salads).
