Frida Kahlo Museum

Frida Kahlo Museum
Frida Kahlo Museum (Calle Londrés 247, Col. Del Carmen, Coyacan, Mexico City) – this was Frida Kahlo’s family home. A.K.A. Casa Azúl, or “Blue House”, this was where the famed Mexican artist lived most of her life. Visitors to Mexico City who are interested in her life & work should not miss a visit to this museum, which is not only a tribute to her life but also a fine example of early 20th Century Mexican architecture. Those hoping to see her art should visit the Dolores Olmedo Museum and the Modern Art Museum in Chapultepec Park, since there is not much of Frida’s art found here.
Admission: MX$246 per person. Hours: 10:00 am – 5:45 pm (Tuesday, Thursday-Sunday), 11:00 am – 5:45 pm (Wednesday).
